We take care of a large number of regular and new (international) clients in the AV tech sector. We provide clients with all of their needs in event tech for projects such as conventions, conferences, fashion shows, corporate events, product launches, presentations, and workshops. We are looking for motivated, talented, and fun colleagues to strengthen our team as we grow.

As an AV tech, you will support our (international) clients and assist them with technical aspects of their projects at the event locations. During projects in the Netherlands and out of the country, you will build up, break down, and control AV devices, either as part of a team, or alone. Our clients will rely on you to answer technical questions. You will work with an eye for detail, and must have an open dialogue not only with the client but also all other involved parties such as the location, suppliers, and third parties. If you aren’t working on location, you will be preparing projects at our warehouse.

Are you doing an AV related study such as stage & event tech, sound tech, or light tech? Then you will be looking for an internship at a certain point in your studies. At HWC Events & Rental you will have the chance to build up a lot of hands on experience. You will have the chance to show what you can do, what you can learn, and what you’re interested in, all within a small team.

From day one you will be working on assignments, involved in setup, breakdown, and running a show. Our location is easy to reach with public transport. Stop by (on appointment) to get to know us. If the work seems up your alley, we will be happy to offer you an internship.

As senior AV project manager you have loads of experience handling key-accounts and an in-depth knowledge of the AV industry.  You run technically complicated projects autonomically without losing sight of the other projects running within the company. You manage and are responsible for all the facets of a project such as; material, crew, logistics, venue management and budgeting. You strive to leave an excellent impression on the clients, the event-venues and the crew you work with. As senior project manager you are capable of running multiple project simultaneously. You are an entrepreneur within the company and will always look after the big picture for the company as well as that the quality standards are being met on the individual projects. The rental shop manager oversees all ‘dry hire’, ‘wet hire’, and ‘rental’ projects. You plan the materials, sort out shortages, organise transposrt and the setup/breakdown crew. Together with your colleagues you will ensure that the materials are ready to be picked up or delivered. You will also be responsible for making sure that they are all returned. You oversee the product selection and provide the information about it. Your input regarding oversights or excess products in our assortment is essential. You are the link between our two locations and ensure that the right material ends up at the right location. Just like your colleagues, you are not opposed to putting your work shoes on and helping when needed.

The Rental Shop Employee will work half the time in our warehouse with the preparation, delivery, and returns of rental material. Everything must be either tidily put away in the pickup compartments or on the shelf. The rest of the time you will be behind the wheel, on the way to clients all over the country. You will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of rental materials. You will not only be a chauffeur, but someone on whom clients can rely for explanations about setup or control of a product, or even be a person who can assist the client with this. You must be very precise and keep meticulous track of receipts. You have the ambition to grow within the company, to the point of a job wherein you will be responsible for the full logistical planning of projects.

This relatively new study walks the fine line between the commercial front end and the technical back end of projects. This is a position which allows for extensive experience building during our team.

Making construction drawings, but also handling phone requests, for example, will give you a unique insight into both the commercial and the technical side of our field. We can offer you a chance to learn a lot in a short amount of time through this internship.

Are you studying media and entertainment management, and is your preference the events side of things? Do you still enjoy working on the technical, planning, and logistical parts of an event? Then we have a great internship available for you.

From day one you will be working on the technical set up of conventions, conferences, company events, and fashion shows. The projects will vary in size and responsibility level, so that you get a good idea of how the market works. We are more than happy to discuss your specific internship assignment in order to see how it will fit with your talents and our possibilities.

Are you an AV tech with talent for running faultless projects for corporate clients? If you work just as well in a small team as you do individually, then we would love to hear from you. Due to our company’s constant growth, we are constantly looking for freelance AV, and lighttechs in the Amsterdam and Breda regions, as well as in the vicinity of large Dutch event locations such as Event Hall Gorinchem, Expo Houten, Utrecht Jaarbeurs, WorldForum Den Haag, and WTC Rotterdam.

As a freelancer, you must be able to get to event locations or to our warehouse. Ideally, you will have a B driver’s license and your own vehicle. You speak English and preferably Dutch and are able to answer any technical questions from our clients.

Loading, unloading, setting up, breaking down, and a bunch of fun. We are always looking for stagehands all over the Netherlands for different projects. If you would like to keep growing towards becoming an AV tech, we can offer you great projects.
